PCORE Electric Company, Inc., formerly the Bushing Division of Lapp Insulator Company, LLC, was formed in July 2004, by management and an investor group led by DeltaPoint Capital Management, LLC and HSBC Capital (USA) Inc.

The change-over process from Lapp to PCORE was seamless as the transaction included the transfer of all bushing-related assets including engineering drawings & the facilities that previously held the Lapp Bushing Division.  PCORE was now in a strong position to build upon more than 40 years of successfully manufacturing capacitance-graded bushings.

In October 2007, PCORE became a proud subsidiary of Hubbell Power Systems Inc.  Founded in the late 1800’s, Hubbell has a rich history of quality and innovation and today is a leader in the electrical products industry.  With PCORE Electric bushings an integral component of the electrical grid, our product offering extends Hubbell Power Systems position as the industry leading manufacturer of electrical products.

In 2008 Electro Composites, a manufacturer of composite-based high-voltage insulating systems including apparatus bushings, joined the Hubbell Power Systems family and together with PCORE has formed the HPS Bushing Division.

As a subsidiary of Hubbell Power Systems, PCORE has continued to support all bushing products.  We remain committed to providing high quality, reliable products supported by the outstanding service our customers have come to expect.
